You won't miss the caffeine with our naturally decaffeinated version of our outstanding, floral tasting Victorian Earl Grey. We blend naturally decaffeinated Ceylon tea with rose petals, lavender, rosemary and Bergamot oil.
Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes.
Ingredients: Decaf black tea, rosemary, natural bergamot oil, roses and lavender.
This tea is decaffeinated using the all-natural CO2 process.
Natural CO2 Decaffeination To decaffeinate tea it is necessary to find a solvent that will remove the caffeine from the leaf, while keeping as many of the healthy benefits and the taste profiles in. The best method we have found is natural CO2 decaffeination. This method consists of putting moistened tea leaves in a chamber, adding CO2 and pressurizing it. CO2, when pressurized, becomes a liquid which effectively removes caffeine from tea leaves, while just as effectively not removing many of the healthy benefits. When the liquid is poured off the leaves and the leaves are dried, the CO2 reverts back to its gas form and dissipates from the leaf. Decaffeinated teas generally still have 1-2% caffeine.
This is one of my all-time favorite teas! Love the subtle herbaceous note the lavender & rosemary add. A classic must have in my pantry!

WE WHO LOVE EARL GREY AND THE SUBTLE FLAVORS OF ROSEMARY, AND BERGAMOT---WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT THIS DECAF TEA IN OUR STASH! JUST OPENING THE PACKAGE IS A TREAT IN ITSELF. I LOVE THAT THIS IS A DECAF BLEND AND I CAN ENJOY IT ANY TIME OF THE DAY--OR---NIGHT! FLAVORFUL BUT SUBTLE TOO. TRY IT YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

The one decaf tea you should never be without
I have loved Earl Grey tea since my childhood, but recently have had to cut back on caffeine intake. This tea is the perfect drink for late morning, early afternoon or even in the evening with dessert. It retains the delicious flavor and the wonderful smell of Earl Grey-without the caffeine! The tea is fresh unlike packaged tea bags from the grocery store. This is now my favorite decaf tea and will be a staple in my house!

International Orders:
Orders shipped outside the US will be shipped via US Postal Mail (either Global Express, Priority Mail or First Class [packages under 4 lbs]). For orders shipping to Canada, freight charges should be calculated at the time of checkout. For other orders shipping outside the US, additional shipping charges will apply and we will email you the freight total prior to shipping your order. Wholesale Orders:
Orders to wholesale accounts will be shipped via UPS. Freight charges will be assessed prior to shipping. Please notify us if you would like a quote prior to our shipping your order. Otherwise, all orders will have the freight charges added to their merchandise price.
Other Shipping info:
All merchandise purchased through this site is F.O.B. Brookfield, CT. Title to the merchandise passes to you at the time of delivery by Simpson & Vail, Inc. to a common carrier, as well as responsibility for all shipping fees.
Order Cancellations:
You may cancel your order for any reason prior to shipment and receive a full refund. Should you desire to cancel an item, which has not been received, please call at: 800-282-8327. You will be advised if your merchandise has not been shipped and may therefore still be canceled. If the merchandise has already been shipped and a cancellation is allowed, it will be your responsibility to pay the complete shipping and handling charges. Special order merchandise cannot be canceled.
