A Complex Black |
6/1/2019 |
This is a very good black tea. As the description indicates, there is a slight nuttiness to it, both in the smell and taste. What I like about this is that it's more complex than the Assams and Ceylons that I've had. While still a black and therefore relatively bold, it's also more than that. |

A nice, yet simple tea |
5/2/2018 |
I have been drinking Keemun tea from Simpson and Vail for many years, so I figured it was time for a change. Based on the description, I tried a pound of Vietnam Black Tea. It is a very good tea, yet it is not a complex tea. The flavor is good, and would be something that I might drink before going to bed. However for my first tea of the morning I would rather have something more robust. The Vietnam tea is a very good tea, and one that could become a fall back tea, but I think I am going to stick to my beloved Keemun. |

Mild Tea |
3/16/2018 |
I was very curious to drink this tea. After preparing this tea and drinking it black I found it to be mild and while it is acceptable to drink, it was nothing like more robust teas with bigger flavor profiles. For a simple tea this one would be perfect, nothing to object to in the taste, a nice plain tea. |

Great Addition |
5/20/2015 |
For years I have been drinking a nice tea from Java that I purchased from SV. No longer available I tried this new? tea from Vietnam. It has quickly become a favorite. It is smooth and has a natural light sweet flavor that is wonderful in the morning. One of my permanent rotation. |

Very Plesant Surprise |
9/16/2014 |
I have been a long time consumer of an Indonesian tea no longer carried by S & V. To replace it I thought I would try this and was I surprised. This has become one of my two go-to teas. It has a naturally light sweet taste, but it is still quite flavorful. A truly wonderful choice. |

Our favorite tea! |
5/1/2013 |
Vietnam Black is our favorite black tea and anyone I have served it to has remarked about what a lovely tea it is. For people who need just a little sweetener in tea to take away the bitter or dry taste, this tea doesnt need it. Now to offer it in a decaf version so I can drink it any time of day! |
