Not Fruity Enough |
7/6/2020 |
I'm not a fan of this one since I don't love the base tea. The main flavor is the tea, and it just didn’t have the light, fresh flavor that I was looking for, and I’ve never been able to spot a strong enough fruit presence. I won't take off too many points though since I'm not a huge fan of this sort of tea generally, and I want to be fair. |

Fruity and pleasant |

I bought this for my husband because he doesn't like the strong taste of black teas. This white tea definitely has a more subdued flavor. I make sure my teaspoon is heaping because I like the fruity flavors to be a bit stronger. It's a fun change from the teas I usually drink, and I'm looking forward to warmer weather so that I can try it iced. |

Enjoyed the cup of this tea |

This is my second tea I have tried so far (I bought several) Just made me a cup this morning. A lovely white tea with strawberry flavors coming through-enjoying that flavor a hint of guava coming through too.
A very nice blend of flavors I think this will make a nice ice tea this summer |

Good, not great. |

This has no discernible strawberry flavor. I was really hoping for a strawberry taste. That being said, it IS good. Just not what I expected. |

A white tea with mild strawberry flavor, lacked guava for me. |

I had to try this guava blend when I saw the other S&V guava blend. Side by side comparing! A white tea blend that has guava flavor. I taste more of strawberry than guava so possibly it's hiding here too. Don't let the hibiscus mention scare you from this one, there is no noticeable hibiscus in the flavor when I tried it. The second steep I poured just boiled water and the white tea flavor was much more prominent while losing some of the fruit. I'm not docking points for that though, as I really shouldn't use boiling water on white tea. I just know it doesn't really ruin white tea. I like this as strawberry flavored white tea but as a guava tea it kind of fails.
Steep #1 // 2 teaspoon for a full mug// 28 minutes after boiling // 2 1/2 minute steep
Steep #2 // couple minutes after boiling // 3 minute steep |

Light and sweet and delicious |
8/17/2017 |
This white tea has a really delicate but unmistakable strawberry flavor, with just a hint of tropical oomph from the guava. It's a light flavor and a light tea, as you'd expect of a white, and it was really refreshing served either hot or cold. I like it sweetened, but it's nice unsweetened as well. I highly recommend this, especially in hot weather. If you're new to loose-leaf whites like I was, don't be alarmed by the 1-oz size...it's actually a lot of tea! It's just "fluffier" than the black, but goes just as far as 2 oz of the denser black tea. |

Tropical paradise |

A good tropical flavored white tea. In my opinion it could have used a touch more guava flavor but a satisfying blend none the less. |

Delicious Hot or Cold |

First I should say my favorite teas are the bold Assams. Subtle and light usually dont attract me to a tea so its been hard to find a white tea I enjoy.
Strawberry guava white tea is tasty, flavorful and refreshing. There is a perfect balance of flavors. Guava, to me, tastes like a combination of strawberry and yellow pears so the guava and strawberry together give this lots of flavor.
There some other flavors I picked up as well. Sweet, spicy, a bit of other citrus probably from the hibiscus and cornflowers.
I tried this hot and iced and both were delicious. I look forward to having this as my summer go to iced tea |

I wanted to make myself like this this. White tea is a really great but I could not taste any strawberry and that was what I really looking for. SO if you like really light flavors this might be for you/ |
