Elegant |
12/10/2021 |
Elegant seems like a strange word to use when describing tea, yet it fits this particular blend perfectly. It is light and warm. I bought is originally because I was introduced to rose tea and fell in love. S&V has the best (black) rose tea I've tried, which is one of the reasons it a favorite. |

Subtle Rose Flavor |
3/8/2021 |
My first time tasting rose congou tea and I like it.I love the aroma of roses and this tea has a nice subtle flavor which is what I am looking for. It is lovely with a touch of milk. This tea hit the spot for me when I'm feeling cold but don't want the James Joyce Irish tea just yet. |

A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME---- |

A FRAGRANT ROSE GARDEN! THE SCENT IS STRONGER THAN THE TASTE. ONCE BREWED THE FRAGRANCE COMES THROUGH, BUT NOT TOO OVERPOWERING. JUST RIGHT! THE PETALS ADD TO THE AMBIANCE. |

Impressive |

This is a rose garden in a cup!! I love this tea! The scent and flavor of rose are strong but not overpowering. The rose petals make this visually appealing as well. I served this at a small garden party in the summer, and everyone loved it. I like to give this as a gift to my tea-loving friends. |

Perfect, perfect, perfect |

I've tried a lot of teas from S&V, and this is probably my favorite of all time. The rose flavor is strong enough to come through clearly, but is balanced very nicely with the black tea, and it can handle a bit more oversteeping (if, say, you happen to forget to take out your leaves while reading a book) which is very nice. Love this one! |

Spring Rose |

I really enjoy rose scented teas and goodies, so it's no surprise that I like this tea. It has a very fresh rose like quality to it. Smelling it actually reminds me of spring time! I enjoy the tea best hot with honey and cream, but the fresh quality of this tea makes for an nice iced tea as well! |

Just the right amount of rose flavor |

I love floral scented teas, but lately I've been enjoying blends that mix floral and fruit aromas. This tea was a nice return to the basics for me. The rose scent is definitely there from the moment you open the package, but not so strong that it's like drinking perfume. Well done. |

Rose Congou |
3/14/2019 |
I’m not a huge floral tea person but based on the other reviews I thought I’d buy an ounce to try. When you open the bag your hit with a strong rose scent. Brewed up the rose is still there but much more subtle. The first thing I taste is the rose ( it’s not overwhelming) as well as a sweetness. Perhaps vanilla? This would not be something I’d drink regularly but on occasion I could see myself reaching for this. |

Rose goodness |

This tea is imbued with wonderful floral rose flavor, but it isn't overpowering. There's a quite pleasant spicy taste beneath the rose, and this tea is complex enough that I find different tastes with every sip.
The rose really comes out in the smell as well, which is truly delightful. |

Garden in a Cup |

Congou is a type of black tea, but this one is quite mellow with a rich, spicy hue. I am not certain, but I believe this tea was fermented with layers of rose petals rather than just having a flavoring added. I say this because the scent and taste are so natural like fresh roses in a spring or summer garden. There'll is no artificial taste at all and the rose is not overpowering. There are bits of colorful rose petals included which add visual interest. This tea is gentle, relaxing and romantic. |

Absolutely marvelous! |

This Rose Congou is wonderful. We mix it with an Assam, because otherwise it is too light and delicate in flavor. But it is not too perfumy and we get a lot of compliments on it. Also delicious iced. |

Good rose tea |

I love rose teas, but sometimes theyre like drinking shampoo. This is floral, but not too perfumey, so its just right. I can drink it either with or without sugar and its just as good. |

Perfectly Balanced |

I did not think I would like the flavor of rose very much, but I figured I would try it anyway. I was blown away. The blend of black tea and rose petals was absolutely perfect and delicious. I will definitely be trying the other variations with added flowers. This is a great starter tea for floral infusions. |

My favorite tea! It is delicately scented with rose petals, so the rose scent is not overpowering. |
