| Does it taste exactly like Red Velvet Cake? No. Is it delicious? Yep! The first batch I had a long while ago actually had too many cocoa bean pieces in it and was very dark to my palate. A bit overpowering. The last time I ordered it I found they tweaked the balance a bit and it was just perfect! Definitely a reorder tea for me when I want dessert, but can't have it. ;-> |

| The chocolatey dry aroma does not disappoint, however, I feel that this is the type of beverage that is best when paired with a dessert otherwise the experience falls a little flat. Don't expect to brew this up and replace your craving for sweets because you might be left wanting. But, If you love rooibos blends and chocolate desserts together then this is for you. On it's own it's very pleasant, but I prefer to complement with cream and sugar which makes it quite tasty. I have had the pleasure of sipping this while enjoying chocolate cake and it is a decadent treat to be sure which is why I'll be saving my stash for the rare occasions those types of desserts are in my kitchen. |

Delicious dessert tea! |

| Personally, I do not think this tastes like red velvet, but that doesn't matter because it's really good the way it is! I like the taste of raspberry that comes through, along with the light chocolate taste. It's currently one of my go to teas! It's also one that holds up really well to multiple steepings. I'll be ordering more soon! |

| This tea isn't great plain. The flavor is primarily rooibos with maybe a bit of chocolate and a little berry at the end of the sip. If you add milk, sugar, and vanilla, it can be quite nice. It's a bit cakey and chocolatey. I really have grown to like it. |

Not Quite Red Velvet, But Still Tasty |

| I might be the weird one, given other reviews. I found this tea didn't quite taste like red velvet, which is my favorite cake. I found the chocolate and coconut notes to be stronger than any others. Now, this is not a bad thing. The tea is quite nice, but I wouldn't say it's "red velvet." |

| This tea does NOT disappoint. It is a lovely dessert tea that has flavor notes which live up to its name. I can taste the sweet red velvet cake and creamy cheesecake icing. A wonderful brew. This will become one of my S&V regulars. |

| The Red Velvet Cupcake Tisane has an excellent quality of cacao flavor. The red rooibos that it combines flavors with enhances the warmth of the cacao to enrich the chocolatey cake in a cup. |

| I have been enjoying the green rooibos dessert teas and I love raspberry and coconut so I was excited to try this tea. Let me start out by saying I’m not a fan of rooibos tea, especially red rooibos. Unfortunately what I taste most is the rooibos ( to me it tastes like drinking tobacco) in the background I do taste the raspberry and some sweetness from the cocoa nibs. It’s definitely a good tea just not for me. I am going to try it as a latte made with coconut milk and see how that goes. |

| This tea is just delightful. It tastes like a chocolate and raspberry cupcake! I've never had Red Velvet, so I can't tell you if it's spot on, but wow is this delicious. It's smooth and not overly chocolate either. I appreciate being able to also taste the raspberry pretty clearly. Great blend! |

| Love this tisane. Really has a red cupcake taste and is very smooth. I sometimes mix it with other teas to get a diverse taste sensation, but very nice as is. I plan to buy more soon. |

| This is one of the most delicious teas I have ever had. I rarely give five star reviews but I was literally slurping this tea! I added honey crystals and a splash of almond milk but I dont think any adornment was needed. It smelled fantastic in the bag and when brewed. My husband exclaimed smells like cake. It tasted like heaven. Great job, S&V! |

| This one smells heavenly, just as the description sounded: cocoa, coconut, raspberry. The flavor is the same as the scent. Sweet, chocolate notes, hints of coconut, not a huge amount of raspberry. The dry blend is mostly rooibos, which completely makes sense for red velvet and of course actually makes the color red, but if there had been more of the ingredients that aren’t rooibos, I think it would have been even more cakey. S&V seems to have some pretty darn nice teas. |

| A nice, mellow chocolate rooibos. I like that it is a blend of flavors instead of plain chocolate--makes it even more interesting. It did not taste like red velvet cake to me, though, but I definitely enjoyed it anyway. |
