This tea grew on me quickly. Make sure you let it steep for the full five minutes, maybe even a bit longer, to get the full effect of apples, herbs and a toasty undertone Thoreau (who loved to go nutting) would have appreciated. It pairs well with a bit of sweetener - I like ginger syrup - but is just as nice straight-up. |

Brings the Outdoors Inside |

Let me start by saying that I am not a huge fan of tisanes. I like black tea. Throw a little bergamot in it and I’m in heaven. I tried this tisane because I adore Thoreau. How could I not try it? I am so pleasantly surprised by the taste and I am absolutely loving it. It reminds me of the peacefulness of the outdoors. The weather has just changed where I live and we’re coming into full Fall weather. This is the perfect hot beverage for those chilly, crisp days. It has a hint of apples, mint and cinnamon, plus the slight bite of ginger. It tastes wonderful! I highly recommend this to everyone. And after accidentally letting my cup get cold, I’ve discovered that this makes a really good iced tea as well! |
