wish I could love it |

I really wanted to like this tea. I was used to Vietnamese tea but thought I would try something different. I found this tea stronger than I liked and lacking in subtle flavors that make drinking green tea a calming, pleasant experience. |

Subtle flavor, Smoky |

This tea has a full-bodied, smoky aroma that is very flavorful and yet very subtle. I am really enjoying the uniqueness of this one. |

Perfect Flavor! |

Gave this Organic Gunpowder Green Tea to my husband as a gift, he likes it better than any other of the numerous green teas hes ever had. I find it to be a smooth flavor as the description says and not bitter like others Ive tried. Got 3 steepings out of 1 teaspoon, very nice ! |

Traditional Gunpowder Tea |

Earthy and grassy. Some gunpowder teas I have tasted lack the grassiness that I prefer. This is spot on! |

China Gunpowder Organic Green |
7/16/2016 |
I drank Gunpowder green for years but gave it up because of a sour or citral taste and slight harshness. Recently I got the organic, to see if there was a difference. It is by far the best Gunpowder Ive ever tasted and has become a favorite. It has the unmistakable Gunpowder flavor but nothing sour or citral or harsh. It would have been the perfect emboldening tea for travelers to drink in a dark old Chinese inn, while their drivers packed mules out in the courtyard under a heavy rain, preparatory to a long hard journey. |
