Detailed Description
This certified organic tea comes to us from Guzhang County in Hunan, China. This exquisite tea is harvested in the Spring, before the rains, when the leaves are young and fresh. It is grown at high altitudes and in an environment where the soil conditions, temperatures and rainfall combine to create a prized tea.

Gu Zhang Mao Jian is one of the most delicate greens that we have tasted with a light, slightly sweet, fruity, rose taste.

Brew tea at 180º - steep for 2 minutes.

Green Tea Whipped Cream
In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of heavy cream on the stovetop over medium heat until hot. Remove from the stove, add 2 tsp. of green tea leaves, cover and steep for 30 minutes. Strain and chill for an hour or more.

When you're ready for the cream, pour the tea cream into an electric mixer, add 1-2 Tbsp of sugar, and beat until soft peaks form.

Use on scones, fruit, cakes, etc.

One of my favorites 4/3/2018
I'm a big green tea drinker and I have to say this one really is nice.

My favorite Green Tea 3/15/2014
This tea is not the one to overwhelm the nose or tastebuds with intensity. Rather, it is delicate, light, with a wonderful aroma, and it does not assault the tastebuds like some greens will. It has only an afterthought of astringency- it reminds me of just coming in from the garden after a morning of weeding. IF you dont love green teas but drink them for your health, this one will change your heart. I could drink this one all morning long.
