a lovely surprise |

I didnt think I would like this tea as I find lapsang souchong teas too strong. But my daughter wanted to try it so we did. This is a lovely not an overwhelmingly smoky tea---but it is close to the perfect breakfast tea for me. We will definitely order this one again. |

I have never had another tea quite like this one, it is smokey but not overpowering and is great for waking up or for a jolt back awake around lunchtime! |

Another great black tea! |

I needed something brisk this morning. A Scottish inspired tea should probably be brisk, so I went with this one… I steeped up a teaspoon and a half for this cup. Both steeps are pretty much the same — surprisingly smoky but it seems like it’s on an assam type tasting base, so that seems different. It is brisk, as I expected, slightly malty. Smoky smoky! I wish had more to say about this one… but their description is definitely accurate. But it’s another good one from S&V. I’ve tried a few from them now and they are always good! |

Smokey yet flowery |

This tea is slightly smokey with a soft flowery finish. You can detect notes of honey and almost a sweet perfumed taste. This tea is great for those who like the hint of smokey and sweet. Very nice. |

The family is asleep but I am in my sewing studio with my large china cup of Glen Lochey. It is a Sunday morning tradtion. I love this tea. Smokey but not burnt tasting. Milk and a bit of sugar--heavenly. |
