A truly elevated Earl Grey |
7/28/2020 |
Do you like Earl Grey? You'll like this. Do you hate Earl Grey with the heat of a thousand suns? You'll also like this... confusing, I know but bear with me.
It tastes like Earl Grey, nice, light, strong black tea, with a hint of citrus at the end, only none of that weird taste that makes me make the face of "WTF is in this? And it's impolite to spit out, so I'll just suffer." that I always got from Earl Grey. Cause the Russians did it right and all my American teas have distilled it down to crappy ingredients.
It's delicious and very enjoyable. |

So Fine and Smooth |
11/12/2018 |
This is the black tea you do not put any milk in. It is so fine and so smooth, you must sit, relax and enjoy its subtleness. I can drink this all day long. The bergamot is just the right touch and gives the tea a specialness. . It is SUPERB! Well done, S&V |

Black Tea Perfection |
2/18/2018 |
Despite not being a fan of Dostoyevsky, I tried this tea and it has become one of my favorites. A perfect blend of black teas with just a hint of citrus. Like a more subtle Earl Grey. I don’t tolerate caffeine very well, so I need to limit caffeinated teas to one cup per day. However, I have gotten my entire department addicted to this and I need to buy more and more of it every time I order. All 8 of us highly recommend it! Maybe I'll try reading one of his novels again too... |

I expected smokiness from Fyodor, but got this lovely tea anyway! |

Now for Dostoyevsky's blend. I haven't actually read any of his books... yet. Assumptions out of the way, I kind of expected this to be a smoky blend... and with the bergamot would have been lovely. I'm a fan of the occasional smoky tea, yet this is not one. This blend features black teas from India, Sri Lanka, China and Taiwan and bergamot oil. The black teas here make for an exceptional blend with just the perfect amount of bright bergamot. The black tea is brisk enough while also being smooth, sweet, and tasty. A great showcase for the bergamot. Though this tea does not have my favorite bergamot (that would be tough to beat) this bergamot is certainly delicious enough for me.
Steep #1 // 1 1/2 teaspoons for a full mug// 13 minutes after boiling // 3 minute steep
Steep #2 // just boiled // 4 minute steep |

Fabulous Tea! |
5/23/2017 |
Im 75, and have been drinking tea for most of my life, but this is the finest tea I have ever tasted. I received it this past Friday, and spent the next three days drinking many cups. I didnt bring any to work with me so I could concentrate on my work and not on how delicious the tea is. It is now my go-to basic tea. |

A Good Strong Earl Grey |
11/18/2016 |
Some people may have days where they want a good, stiff drink. When I have that kind of day, I need a good, strong Earl Grey. The Fyodor Dostoyevsky blend hits the spot when a boost is needed. |

This is my new go to tea! |
11/17/2015 |
The Literary Teas are fast becoming my favorites! This is such a smooth and yummy tea that I find myself drinking three to four pots of it one right after the other everyday! This is a tea that I hadnt expected to like as much as I did, I mainly ordered it just to try new things so I was pleasantly surprised when I made my first pot and it smelled so wonderful! |
