Detailed Description

Like the "Brown Betty" teapots, the Cobalt Betty's, made in England, are touted as making the best pot of tea in the world because they are hand-made with terracotta red clay, which retains heat better than other clays. These classic round teapots are fired with a rich cobalt blue glaze and feature an interlocking lid. Being hand-made, slight irregularities may occur in the glazing process; however, these will not affect the use or beauty of the teapots.

Hand-made in England. The stamp on the bottom of the teapot says "Made in England - Adderley Ceramics"
