So, the title literally tells you what you need to know. Do you often drink hot chocolate and think "That's too rich for me"? DRINK THIS. It literally tastes like a mild black tea with overtones of chocolate and a hint of caramel.
It smells HEAVENLY.
I feel the smell of this would automatically quell any chocolate cravings. Like, it smells like old spiced chocolate (my favorite). |

Chocolate tea |

This is fast becoming one of my favorite teas to gift. Bought it originally to share with one of my daughters but was leary as i only like milk chocolate and not the darker versions....well i am now on pound # 2 1/2. Such a mild chocolate flavor not overwhelming at all. |

Faint of Chocolate |
4/2/2019 |
I’m a chocolate tea Fan-atic and keep searching high & low for one that really is more chocolate than tea. I found this one to be faint of chocolate..if you look more for chocolate Aroma, it is suitable. For those looking to really taste the chocolate flavor, it falls a little short. |

Chocolate Caramel |

First off this tea smells so good. Brewed up the scents are more subdued. This is a great tea. It’s sweet from the caramel and it does have a rich chocolate flavor. I do wish the chocolate was more pronounced though. It will probably make an amazing latte. Overall a great sweet dessert tea. |

Chocolate Caramel Bliss ! |

The balance of chocolate to caramel ratio is just right for this tea. A good quality of cacao flavor is used, as well. |

New fan of chocolate tea |

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this tea because I am not a big chocolate fan but this tea was really enjoyable. It had just the right amount of chocolate and caramel so it wasn't overwhelming or too sweet. This is a great tea to drink cold, anytime. I am glad they offer smaller sample sizes in just case you do not like the tea you are buying. |

Comforting chocolate caramel on a cool day... |
8/3/2018 |
Without a doubt, you will like this tea! Before discovering this tea, I used to buy chocolate tea and caramel tea separately, and blend them together - but this tea is perfectly blended for an enjoyable cup! Neither the chocolate nor the caramel outshines the other - well balanced, with a creamy chocolate and buttery caramel taste. |

Plenty of chocolate! |
10/11/2017 |
There is plenty of chocolate and sweetness in the flavor here, on this black tea base. The black tea is mild enough to let the flavors shine. The little red flowers in the blend really make the blend pop. There is a great amount of flavor here for only including the occasional cocoa nib and flavoring (and especially because this blend is not exactly new and fresh from S&V at this point... I've had it a while). How S&V can keep their teas so fresh is a GOOD mystery. Definitely chocolate flavor here! Plenty of flavor for two steeps. I like it.
Steep #1 // 1 1/2 teaspoons for a full mug// 10 minutes after boiling // 3 minute steep
Steep #2 // few minutes after boiling // 4 minute steep |

I dont drink black tea in the evenings, so Ive enjoyed this with breakfast a few times. Its not my absolutely favorite from S&V but its still good and a nice change from plainer teas. |

Not representative of S&Vs awesome dessert lineup... |
7/9/2016 |
I wasnt a fan of the either the caramel flavoring used or the base tea. I tried to brew it up again, just in case I did it wrong... and just wasnt impressed either time. There are a ton of other S&V dessert teas Id reach for before this...I am grateful S&V has the option to order only an oz on most of their teas to try things out. |

Tastes first like coconut, then cardboard |
1/16/2016 |
This is the first S&V tea that I have not liked. The aroma in the bag was rather nondescript. When brewed, there was an aroma and taste of coconut and chocolate which was not unpleasant but also not caramel! As the tea cooled, I was hoping the chocolate caramel would come out. It did not. It changed into straight up...CARDBOARD. I finished the cup and then promptly threw the remaining 2 oz away. Still love S&V. This one just did not work out for me. |

Sweet, Mellow Flavor, Strong Aroma |
3/5/2013 |
The aroma of this tea is the strongest I have ever experienced. However, when brewed it takes on a sweet, mellow characteristic not consistent with the incredible aroma. Over all it is incredible as a dessert tea. It is definitely not too sweet, but more mellow than I expected. I am drinking a cup as I write this. I will definitely buy this again. |
