Detailed Description
Beatrix Potter’s talent as an illustrator surfaced shortly after she was born to wealthy parents in 1866. She spent her childhood enjoying long walks in the countryside with her brother where she drew everything she could see. She developed a special affinity for drawing the local animal life, especially rabbits. Her pet rabbit, Benjamin Bouncer, served as the model for many of her early illustrations and would later inspire her most memorable creation. In 1902, her first book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, was published. It was based on a story she had written and illustrated for the children of a former governess, and it became immediately and immensely popular. The success of Peter Rabbit rocketed her to literary fame and, even today, her books are a mainstay of children’s collections everywhere.

As evidenced by the myriad plants she mentions in her stories, Beatrix Potter was a lover of nature and an avid gardener. In her stories, tea takes the form of healing herbals like the one given to Peter Rabbit: “I am sorry to say that Peter was not very well during the evening. His mother put him to bed, and made some camomile tea; and she gave a dose of it to Peter!” Our Beatrix Potter blend combines a soothing selection of herbs she mentioned with an organic green rooibos base that is both healthful and delicious for the young and young at heart.

Ingredients: Organic Green Rooibos, organic Rosehips, natural flavor, organic chamomile, organic spearmint and organic lemongrass.

A very Happy & Fruity tea 3/17/2020
First of all I love the Literary influence of Beatrix Potter herself. This tea is a lovely, fruity tea that is a grest representation of her. I love to keep my tea supply stocked with this tea. In fact I need to restock soon😊

A sweet strawberry flavor on the unique green rooibos base. 7/7/2019
It's a sweet blend - the most distinct flavor is the strawberry flavoring. But then there is hints of chamomile and spearmint, all on that rare green rooibos base. I can't really taste the lemongrass, but I think this blend would be excellent with some lemon verbena. I wouldn't say using the two teaspoons is too much... it seems like a good amount to use for this one. I like this blend, but with a few tweaks, it could be even more delicious. It's nice to see the rare green rooibos though. Steep #1 // 2 teaspoons for a full mug // 8 minutes after boiling // 3 minute steep Steep #2 // just boiled // 5 minute steep

Oh, the Simple Joys of Beatrix Potter! 3/28/2019
Drinking this tea with it's fresh flavors of the garden definitely brings to the senses the feel of simplicity, joy, and coziness that its namesake elicits. Our friends are now hooked on it, too.

Delicious but strong combination 12/3/2016
I thought this was a delicious but far from relaxing herbal blend. There was much to take in here. A tea party of 10 gave it mixed reviews, but I would say overall it was pleasant, just had some unexpected complicity that Im not used to finding in my herbals.

Delicious 11/10/2016
This tea has a wonderful fragrance and taste. Its very refreshing and uplifting to drink. Its not too sweet but needs no sugar, in my opinion! I have since ordered more tins of it for gifts. The recipients love it as well! And others who have tried it at my house like it too! (Great tea, I hope you continue to carry it forever!!)

I bought this as an evening beverage as caffeine too late keeps me awake. I really like it. The flavor is great and my children like it too.
