Exceptional Flavor |

Love this tea. I drink 2 cups every morning and it gets me rolling. Let it brew for just over 60 seconds and you're rewarded with deep and complex flavors that get your body ready for the day. |

Best Tea in the World! |
7/1/2019 |
This is a very very special tea! The best tea in the world,
we only drink it on rather special occasions. I just love it, dark
and malty and strong. |

A Good Suprise |
6/21/2019 |
I don't generally drink strongly astringent teas. I originally got this thinking it would be a good vehicle for honey and lemon to help with my occasional sore throats. But, I found that, when brewed a slightly lower than recommended temperature, the astringency almost disappears and leaves a full bodied cup with a rich nutty flavor. |

Not for the light tea drinker |
10/6/2017 |
This is a tea that makes a strong, delicious brew with a relatively small amount of tea and a substantially shorter brew time. It's nutty and rich you can practically bite into a strong cup with some milk (I actually use evaporated milk) and some sweetener. For those who like their tea "English style," this is a great one—and since less of it is necessary to make a good brew, it's also a great price. |

first tea I didnt like |
4/3/2017 |
I really wanted to like this tea because Ive liked other assumes, but this tea felt too strong for my taste, almost like an espresso. I will stick to their other assumes. Having said that, the taste was fine and it would possibly be a good tea for someone searching for a strong morning tea. |

Not my cup of tea |
10/7/2016 |
I prefer a bold strong cup in the morning to wake me up. I had high hopes for this CTC style Assam. It does indeed brew up to a deep amber cup, but I found the classic Assam malty flavor lacking. I prefer the Assam item T0001 over this one. |

English breakfast tea at its best! |
11/13/2015 |
For anyone accustomed to the English tea-drinking habit, this Assam Beesakopie tea provides the perfect morning cuppa! Fast-brewing, full-bodied, with a malty flavor and slightly astringent palate, its the perfect wake-up tea. Unlike teabags, which may leave a dusty aftertaste due to their origins, the Beesakopie provides a clean, fresh drink. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended! |

Deliciously Malty Assam |
10/11/2015 |
This assam is strong and malty, just lovely. It is full-bodied and brews a gorgeous cup without any hints of bitterness. If you want a straight back tea that gives you a kick of energy, this is a perfect selection. |

Delicious strong malty tea |
9/5/2015 |
I bought an ounce of about 8 assam teas to sample, all came nicely packaged and labeled. This Beesakopie stands out as the winner to me. The others were okay but they were all missing something that this one has. Maybe its just the stronger flavor due to the type of leaves and short brewing time, the leaves look like coffee grounds and a cup brews up in half the time any of the other tea leaves did, plus I didnt have to use as much per cup. I am going to be placing an order for more. If you are thinking of sampling a bunch, make sure you add this one to try! |

Beesakopie CTC Assam |
5/5/2015 |
This tea brews up strong quickly, with a lovely amber color. I love it with cream and honey. The little balls of tea are smaller than most other versions Ive had. This results in a very quick and flavorful brew, but you might need a finer strainer to keep little pieces out of your cup. An effective solution is to use the disposable tea bags sold here at Simpson & Vail. When I go to a coffee house with friends, I usually feel cheated, since I dont get as nice a brew as the coffee drinkers do. I end up complaining that the water for my tea is not hot enough, the tea they offer seems to be there as an afterthought, etc. Well, now I take a couple of the teabags with a good amount of Beesakopie CTC and I have nothing to whine about! The small pieces brew up great with not-hot-enough water and the disposable tea bags filter out the smallest pieces. |

Beesakopie for Me-sapkopie |
1/10/2014 |
I have been drinking tea since I was 16 years old..over 40 years! Coffee does not touch my lips. I usually buy 5 kinds of tea at a time and rotate each day. I just noticed levels of Beesakopie are dropping much faster than the four others. Could it be I am not rotating teas daily and instead using Beesakopie every chance I get? Yep! This is one great tea. It makes iced tea everyone talks about and I always get multiple brewings for hot tea. If you love Assam, you will put this at the top of your favorites list, too. |

Good morning ... tea! |
6/3/2013 |
This is my new favorite morning tea! I like that it brews quickly at 1.5 min. I have brewed it longer but no need to do so. It is full-bodied, dark and smooth. Nice biscuit flavor of good Assams. Only 4 stars in the Assam category but 5 for within its own being CTC. It goes just fine with a quick muffin or toast and great with a full breakfast ... when you have the time. |
