Turmeric Chai Latte
2 tsp Turmeric Chai
1 cup Boiling Water
1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp sweetener (or to taste)
Pour boiling water over Turmeric Chai and steep, covered, for 5-10 minutes. While the tea is steeping, steam the milk. Strain the tea, then pour brewed tea equally into 2 cups. Add your desired amount of sweetener (sugar, honey, syrup). Top with 1/4 cup of steamed milk in each cup and sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa on top.
Turmeric Chai Latte with Cocoa
Make the above recipe and add 1 Tbsp of your favorite cocoa. Delicious!
|Be sure to try the chai latte recipe - it is so flavorful and delicious! The chai itself can easily stand up to two brewings, so I do tend to simmer it in the water only, strain, and then mix with the almond or coconut milk, so I can set the spices aside and brew it again. I was a little astonished to find the second-brewed chai spices made an excellent addition to my coffee (this was a "mistake" that turned out to be a winner instead)! The flavor is well-balanced and very enjoyable no matter how you make it.|
|This is hands down the best chai I've ever had. I love the Indian Sasparillo's unique addition to this blend. Excellent herbal blend for anytime of the day!|

|For years I have been looking for a "mix" that would compare to the 'Chai Mix' I love from a local coffee kiosk. Even though this is listed as an herbal tea,( not a milky chai mix ) I decided to try it and I followed the suggestion to add sugar and milk.( I used undiluted evaporated milk).
Well...It's plain AWESOME. I have found my replacement. I am also sure that this has many less calories and is healthier than the 'Chai Mix' at the coffee kiosk. Thank you S & V !! Next I will try the 'Cocoa' suggestion you listed.|
