Coffee was introduced to Indonesia by the Dutch in the late 1600's. Of the thousands of islands that comprise Indonesia, the larger islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi (Celebes) are known for their high quality Arabica coffee beans. Mandheling refers to the beans that are grown in the northern part of Sumatra. Today many coffees in Indonesia are grown on small farms and are still picked by hand.
This unique heavy-bodied Indonesian coffee has a gentle and smooth acidity with a rich taste.
Our coffees are available either ground or whole bean. We can grind coffees from Perc (coarse) to Turkish (extra-fine). Please specify when you order if you would like Bean, Perc, French Press, Drip, Melitta, Espresso or Turkish grind.
|This coffee has a very heavy, rich flavor. Great for a morning pick me up!|
