One of Mr. Vail's 15 original tea blends.
This old-time formula incorporates Ceylon, China and Indian teas, with a splash of bergamot, to make a bright amber cup with a smooth well-rounded taste. The subtle citrus notes make this an ideal blend for iced tea!
Ingredients: Black teas and natural bergamot flavor.
Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes.
To make the perfect glass of iced tea:
Put approximately ½ ounce (¼ cup) of loose tea into a small container. Pour boiling water over the tea to cover. Let steep 5 minutes, strain out leaves into a ½ gallon container and add cold water to fill. Stir and refrigerate.
If your iced tea gets cloudy, add a few drops of boiling water to the brew.

|This is such great tea. Here in the South, when you say Tea, it is served iced with lots of sugar syrup. If you want hot tea, you must specify hot. But there is so much brown water that passes for tea. This blend is great iced, without sugar Yankee style or so sweet it makes your teeth rattle.|

|Here in the South we rely on iced tea to get us through the inferno-like summer. But why accept mediocre tea when you can get the top shelf stuff? And why use just any tea when theres a blend that is specially chosen for iced tea use? Life is too short to drink anything else.
The special blend really DOES work well for iced tea.|
