When you first smell this coffee, your olfactory senses are assailed with a rich fruity aroma, reminiscent of cherries. This complex, sweet coffee has hints of fruit, chocolate and caramel and a subtle smoky taste that keeps it from becoming overpoweringly sweet.
This coffee is from the Santa Rosa region located on the Pacific coast in the far south-central of the country. It is the largest coffee producing region. Coffee grown here has been blessed with favorable condition including a rich partly volcanic soil with the alternating daytime heat and chilly cool nights. Grown at elevations of 2850 to 3100 feet and harvested from December thru March. The hard compact beans have been washed & sundried.
Organically grown and fair trade certified.
Our coffees are available either ground or whole bean. We can grind coffees from Perc (coarse) to Turkish (extra-fine). Please specify when you order if you would like Bean, Perc, French Press, Drip, Melitta, Espresso or Turkish grind.

|Guatemalan Organic Fair Trade Coffee has been a godsend for me. I suffer with acid reflux and this low acid coffee is the only kind I can drink that does not adversly affect my condition. I discovered thanks to a friend of mine who shops at the local Brookfield Simpson & Vail store, as do I regularly now.|
