This caffeine-free rooibos blend is a winner! The “tea” combines rooibos with fruits, flowers and tropical fruit flavors to create a wonderful smooth tropical fruit taste that is great hot, but divine when iced.
Ingredients: Rooibos, papaya pieces (papayas and sugar), Mango pieces (mangoes and sugar), flavorings and marigold petals.
Brew tea at 212º - steep for 5 minutes.
Tropical Papango & Mango Ice Cubes
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp Tropical Papango herbal tisane
14oz can mango (in natural syrup), drained or 1 cup frozen mangos
Put water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir to dissolve the sugar. Bring to a low rolling boil then add the tea. Cover and remove from the heat and steep for 5 minutes.
Strain out the tea leaves and cool to room temperature.
Pour tea blend into a blender and add mangos. Blend until smooth.
Pour into ice cube trays and freeze.
Add to a glass of iced Tropical Papango or any other Simpson & Vail iced teas.

|Ill admit, when I was given a sample of Tropical Papango, I was skeptical. Mango,yes, I love mango tea ...but papaya??! I neednt have worried. This is an amazing tea,so smooth & mellow,great hot or iced. Subtle... nothing tart or tootie-fruity about it. The Rooibos & flavors all combine to create a totally unique taste-more than the sum of its parts. On the top of my shopping list now.|
