(Fragaria vesca) Strawberry leaf comes from a perennial vine plant that is native to Europe. It has been used historically as an astringent, a diuretic, and a tonic. It is said that it helps to improve digestion and aids in problems of the urinary tract. The leaves have also been prescribed as a gargle to treat sore throats. Externally it has been used to help treat skin problems such as acne and eczema.
Boil 2 tsp. in 1 cup of water and then gently simmer for 5 minutes.

Strawberry Leaf Mouth Rinse Recipe from Natural Beauty at Home by Janice Cox
¼ cup dried strawberry leaves
1 cup boiling water
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
Place the strawberry leaves in a ceramic bowl and pour the boiling water over them. Let sit until completely cool. Strain off the liquid and discard the leaves. Add the lemon juice and stir well. Store this mouthwash in the refrigerator.
