(Rosa canina) A perennial flower, the genus Rosa contains many varieties of roses. Rosehips are the fleshy edible fruit from the rose plant. Fruity and pleasant tasting, rosehips are known for their high concentrations of vitamins A,B,E,K & especially C (a cup of rosehips contains approximately 1700 mg of Vitamin C). Rosehips are brewed as a tea and are also made into jams and jellies, as well as used for cosmetic purposes.
Brew 1 Tbsp. in 1 cup of water at 212º - steep for 10 minutes.

Ingredients:
8-10 dried rosehips
¼ cup distilled water
Place the rosehips in a ceramic container and cover with the water. Let soak until soft, a few hours or overnight.
Pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. Spread on your face and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and splash your face with rosewater. Pat your skin dry
