(Rubus idaeus) Raspberry leaves come from a shrub that is native to Asia and Europe and now is grown in many other parts of the world. These leaves are used medicinally to help tone the uterus to make childbirth a little easier. It has also been used as a gargle to treat canker sores and cold sores and has been used as a poultice externally to help heal wounds. It is also used as an aid to treat diarrhea. Caution: It is suggested that women who are in early stages of pregnancy avoid drinking raspberry leaf tea.
Brew 2 tsp of leaf in 1 cup of water at 212º - steep for 10-15 minutes.
