(Petroselinum crispum) Native to Europe and the Mediterranean region, Parsley today is a common annual herb grown in many home gardens. Throughout recorded history, parsley has been regarded as an important food. The dry leaf is often brewed for use as a diuretic and to aid digestion. Caution: Women who are pregnant should not consume large quantities of parsey.
Brew 2 tsp. in 1 cup of water at 212º - steep for 10 minutes.
