The sweet babanas used in this jam were transplated to the Mauritus from Madagascar. These bananas are smaller, sweeter and more flavorful than the store bought ones.

According to Greek mythology, figs were a symbol of wealth and wisdom. Rabitos Royale only uses the Spanish Pajarito figs from the Almoharin region of Extremadura in Spain, which are re-known for their sweet, moist, and mature figs. While the fig is much smaller than other figs, it is also much tastier. The whole figs are stuffed with a mixture of brandy and chocolate granache before being hand-dipped into a thin layer of rich, Spanish chocolate. Each truffle is then individually wrapped.
