The Bordeaux of coffees! Mocha, in regards to "straight" coffees does not refer to chocolate or chocolate flavored coffee. It refers to Mocha, a port city on the coast of Yemen, where coffee was first commercially cultivated. Today the coffee here is still grown by the old methods. The soil and scarcity of water creates a bean that is quite unlike coffees grown in other countries.
Mocha Yemen Mattari is one of the finest coffees in the world with its full body and a dry, winey-like, chocolate after taste.
Our coffees are available either ground or whole bean. We can grind coffees from Perc (coarse) to Turkish (extra-fine). Please specify when you order if you would like Bean, Perc, French Press, Drip, Melitta, Espresso or Turkish grind.
