Mocha Java blends of coffee began appearing in Europe in the late 1700's as an extension to customers of the coffees that were available to them. The blends were comprised of Java coffee, from Indonesia, and Mocha coffee, from Yemen.
In the United States, traditionally, coffees from South and Central America are quite prevalent. So our blend adds this taste profile to this classic blend. Colombian coffee beans are added to the Mocha and Java beans to produce a very flavorful, medium, full-bodied cup.
Our coffees are available either ground or whole bean. We can grind coffees from Perc (coarse) to Turkish (extra-fine). Please specify when you order if you would like Bean, Perc, French Press, Drip, Melitta, Espresso or Turkish grind.
