At the western northern tip of South America, in the Central Cordilleras, coffee has grown since the 19th century arriving via Venezuela. In this region there are three towns, Medellin, Armenia, and Manizalas (MAM) where the coffee is brought from the rugged mountain plantations. The high altitude with the abundant sunshine and ample rain fall produce a coffee with a medium body, rich flavor and fine balanced acidity.
Our Colombian Excelso coffee is a blend of the Colombian Supremo (the highest quality) with the Extra (the next highest quality) resulting in a moderately aromatic cup, with a rich, mellow flavor and balanced acidity.
Our coffees are available either ground or whole bean. We can grind coffees from Perc (coarse) to Turkish (extra-fine). Please specify when you order if you would like Bean, Perc, French Press, Drip, Melitta, Espresso or Turkish grind.
