This tea was created in 2004, in celebration of SIMPSON & VAIL’S 75th anniversary. This exceptional and memorable blend incorporates long, dark brown leaves, interspersed with elegant silver-white twisted buds.
The leaves open into long, well-formed, large green and brown leaves and buds, with a musk-like aroma. The pale amber cup has good body with the best characteristics of an oolong, while the white buds add a slightly sweet honey taste with the overall characteristic of a notable chardonnay.
Brew: 5-7 min. at 195ºF.
